D Clox capsule is an antibiotic medicine containing a combination of ampicillin and dicloxacillin as its active ingredients. No, you cannot take D Clox capsulefor treating colds and flu. This is specific for treating bacterial infections, while cold and flu are caused by viruses. Therefore, taking this medicine in such conditions may lead to the development of antibiotic resistance.
D Clox capsule should be taken with food to avoid stomach upset. Also, it enhances the absorption of the medicine. Thereby, consuming this medicine on an empty stomach can result in stomach upset.
