Aurocol Eye Drop is an antibiotic eye drops used to treat bacterial conjunctivitis in adults and children. It contains chloramphenicol as its active medicine. Aurocol should be used externally only. Avoid the use of contact lenses. Avoid touching the dropper with your eye.

Aurocol Eye Drop slows the growth of bacteria and kills the bacteria. It inhibits the bacterial protein synthesis by binding with ribosomes.
Do not use Aurocol Eye Drop without consulting your opthalmologist if you have had eye surgery in the last six months.
