Aurnim Plus Tablets contain a combination of Nimesulide and Paracetamol. Nimesulide is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by inhibiting the production of certain chemical messengers in the body responsible for pain and inflammation. It is primarily used for its anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.
Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen, is an analgesic and antipyretic. It acts on the brain to reduce fever and pain. The combination of these two active ingredients provides relief from various conditions associated with pain, inflammation, and fever.
This medication is typically prescribed for short-term management of acute pain, such as that associated with musculoskeletal disorders, postoperative pain, or painful menstrual periods, and to reduce fever. Its dual action targets both the inflammatory response and the perception of pain, offering comprehensive symptomatic relief. Due to the potential for adverse effects, particularly on the liver and gastrointestinal system, its use is generally limited to short durations as directed by a healthcare professional.
This medicine should be consumed as a whole with a sufficient amount of water and can be taken after food. Take it for a short duration of time. Prolonged use of this medicine is not recommended.
This medicine should not be used if you are in the last three months of pregnancy Also, if you are a woman planning to conceive, this medicine can hamper your fertility. Hence it should be avoided by such women. If taken during pregnancy, it can damage the heart or kidney of the foetus or delay your delivery.
