At Tablet contains diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). This medication is indicated for the management of pain and inflammation across various medical conditions. Its primary applications include alleviating pain, swelling, and stiffness associated with different forms of arthritis, such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, as well as gout and ankylosing spondylitis.
Furthermore, it is prescribed for the relief of pain experienced after surgical operations and following dental procedures. Administration of this medication must strictly follow a healthcare professional's instructions regarding dosage and treatment duration. It is recommended to take the tablet with or immediately after meals to mitigate potential gastrointestinal side effects.
Before commencing treatment, patients should disclose their complete medical history to their doctor, including any history of smoking, diabetes, blood clotting disorders, or any pre-existing cardiac conditions.
Components of the medicine are known to pass into breast milk. A decision of whether to discontinue breastfeeding or treatment should be taken by a doctor considering the importance of treatment for the mother and the health benefits of breastfeeding for the baby.
At Tablet is known to cause side effects like dizziness and drowsiness. Thus, avoid driving or operating machines if you experience these side effects.
Although there is no known interaction with alcohol and At Tablet, it is essential to consult the physician if you have a habit of regular drinking. Consuming alcohol while taking pain killers is known to increase the risk of bleeding, ulcer and perforation in the stomach and intestine (upper gastrointestinal tract).
