Pregnancy

Can I take Olsem Ch Capsules during pregnancy?

Olsem Ch Capsules should not be taken during pregnancy. When pregnancy is detected, stop taking this medicine immediately and contact your doctor. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or you are planning to have a baby.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Olsem Ch Capsules while breastfeeding?

No information is available if Olsem Ch Capsules passes into human breast milk. Thus this medicine is not recommended for use while breastfeeding. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are breastfeeding/lactating.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Olsem Ch Capsules ?

Olsem Ch Capsules may cause dizziness or fatigue. If you experience any such effects after taking this medicine that may affect your ability to drive safely, it is suggested to avoid driving.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Olsem Ch Capsules ?

Avoid consuming alcohol while taking Olsem Ch Capsules as it may worsen the side effects of this medicine such as dizziness.

Other General Warnings

Talk to your doctor if

• You suffer from any heart diseases.
• You have problems with your kidney or liver.
• You have diarrhoea, vomiting, or are dehydrated.
• You have low blood pressure.
• You are on treatment with high doses of water pills (furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide).
• You are on a low-salt diet.
• Your doctor has told you that you have high blood potassium levels.
• You have problems with your adrenal glands.
• You are taking other medicines to treat high blood pressure like ramipril, lisinopril, aliskiren, etc.
