dry syrup helps treat mild to moderate high blood pressure. It combines losartan, which blocks a hormone that tightens blood vessels and causes your body to retain salt and water, with amlodipine, which relaxes and widens blood vessels by blocking calcium entry into their muscle walls. Together, they help lower blood pressure and reduce strain on your heart.
Take this medicine exactly as your doctor instructs. Once a day, with or after a meal, swallowed whole with water. It is important to take it at the same time each day.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next one, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Never double up on a dose.
Some people may experience side effects such as nausea, headache, dizziness, fatigue, flushing, swelling, abdominal pain, heartburn, body aches, or diarrhoea. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to its ingredients, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Store it in a cool, dry place away from children and pets. Avoid alcohol and do not drive or operate heavy machinery if you feel dizzy. In case of overdose or if you have severe reactions like very low blood pressure, fast heartbeat, or trouble breathing, seek medical help right away.

Taking too much of this medicine can lead to a significant reduction in blood pressure, a disturbed heart rate, palpitations, and a rapid breathing rate, among other side effects. In case of an overdose, reach out to your doctor or the emergency department of the nearby hospital.
