Pregnancy

Can I instill eye drop during pregnancy?

There is limited data available for the use of eye drop during pregnancy. So, it is advisable to consult your doctor before using this medicine if you are pregnant or likely to be pregnant in the near future.

Breast Feeding

Can I instill eye drop while breastfeeding?

There is limited data available on whether eye drop is secreted via breast milk or not, so always consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are breastfeeding your child.

Driving

Can I drive if I have instilled eye drop?

As such, it does not impair driving ability after using eye drop. However, there can be a transient blurring of vision, so you should wait until your vision clears before driving your vehicle or operating a machine.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with eye drop?

There is no known interaction of eye drop with alcohol. However, always consult your doctor about alcohol consumption along with this medicine.

Other General Warnings

Talk to your doctor if

• You have any tendon-related problems, especially in old age patients.
• You have a history of allergic reactions to oral or intravenous use of this medicine.
• You notice any allergy after using eye drop.
• You use contact lenses, avoid using them during bacterial or any infection of the eye and during treatment with medicine also as it contains one substance which can cause discolouration of soft contact lenses.
