Dr. Preet Chavan

Dr. Preet Chavan is a dedicated Occupational Therapist with four years of experience, serving the Navi Mumbai community.

Her specialization lies in helping individuals regain function and independence following illness or injury. Dr.

Chavan is known for her compassionate and family-centered approach, working collaboratively with patients and their families to develop personalized treatment plans. Dr.

Chavan earned her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) from D.Y. Patil Hospital in Navi Mumbai, where she also completed a valuable internship.

This foundational education has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices. Her clinical expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of therapeutic interventions.

Dr. Chavan excels in utilizing play-based therapy, sensory integration techniques, and motor skill development to address the unique needs of her patients.

She has a particular focus on supporting children in developing prerequisites for schooling, fostering constructive communication, and implementing group therapy for learning and behavior modification. Her practice serves a diverse range of age groups, from pediatric to adult patients, with extensive experience in working with children facing developmental challenges such as intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, autism, ADHD, ADD, and Down syndrome.

Dr. Chavan currently practices at Mom's Belief Little Krishna, where she has been a valued member of the team since 2020.

Her professional journey also includes experience as a consultant Occupational Therapist and participation in volunteer work at the AIOTA conference in Mumbai. Her commitment to advancing the field is further demonstrated by her involvement in research projects, including a study on mindfulness, sleep, and work engagement among occupational therapy students.
