Dr. Smita is a highly experienced Ayurveda specialist with 23 years of dedicated practice.

Practicing in Hyderabad, she is deeply committed to sharing the profound benefits of Ayurveda with her community. Her passion for this ancient healing system is evident in her extensive contributions and her role in advancing Ayurvedic healthcare.

Dr. Smita earned her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from BM Kankanwadi Ayurvedic Mahavidyalaya in Belgaum, Karnataka.

She further honed her expertise by completing a Diploma in Panchakarma – Doctor’s training course from the Center for Indian Medicine in Thrissur, Kerala. These qualifications form the foundation of her comprehensive approach to Ayurvedic treatment.

With a rich clinical background, Dr. Smita possesses significant expertise in managing a wide range of health concerns.

Her areas of focus include the treatment of skin diseases, osteoarthritis, spondylitis, and upper respiratory conditions. She also specializes in post-natal care, known as Mathruraksha, as well as addressing joint pain, weight management, and stress-related ailments.

Patients can expect a personalized and holistic approach to their well-being under her care, with a strong emphasis on effective and transparent treatment protocols. Dr.

Smita plays a pivotal role at Travancore Ayurveda - Madinaguda, where she is a senior member of the management team. She has been instrumental in the establishment of the company's clinics and hospital.

As Head of Practice and Governance, she leads a panel of experienced doctors and has been key in achieving NABH accreditation for many of Travancore Ayurveda's facilities.
