He obtained his DM Cardiology from the Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Kolkata. He headed the Department of Cardiology at Narayana Medical College, Nellore, He did his fellowship at the National Heart Institute, Malaysia.
He did his observership in advanced electrophysiology procedures at German Heart Centre, Munich. Germany, Aurora Health Centre, Milwaukee Wisconsin, USA and Viteran General Hospital, Taiwan.
